ICE RAPTOR RS CARBON BMX FRAME

Frame set delivered with IRC TC chain tensioning system and rear 15mm thru-axle.

Manufacturing using advanced technological processes 

This ICE ‘’RAPTOR’’ frame is made from best quality Toray T700 + T800 carbon fiber (T800 used for reinforcement). Not many brands use the T800….
Frame is molded in 2 parts and then stuck during making.  

Glue used is a high-quality American glue named 9432
According to the forces to which a BMX Race frame is subjected, local reinforcement must be carried out. EPS molding technology allows us to go even further in reinforcement and finishing when manufacturing our RAPTOR frames.

3D technology is used for the design of these EPS . We use finishing EPS  which are then wrapped in LATEX, allowing an optimal molding of the fiber avoiding any overlapping of it and making the internal structure of our frames perfectly wrinkled . This way fiber is perfectly oriented, transition of angles is smooth, avoiding any concentration of stresses on a specific point.This is why our frames are reliable, resulting from an optimal design .

Specific geometry 

‘’ARCH’’-type rear stays designed to be uses with a rear disc-brake caliper in Flat mount standard, which makes everything very discrete and classy. This system allows a 140mm brake rotor.
Rear dropouts designed for a mounting with a rear 15mm thru-axle 15mm axle delivered with frame set  or 10mm axle adapters also delivered with frame set. 

Technology and standards used 

- Internally-guided cables using carbon-made ‘’Pipeline’’for a smooth guiding and appreciable ease of assembly.

- Housing inlet at the head tube and outlet at the inner level of the left chain stay for direct connection to your brake caliper.

- Tapered head tube at integrated standard 1 1/8 - 1.5

- External BSA 24 bottom bracket

Robustness proven in laboratory 

All our  frames are subjected to to a battery of laboratory tests, with requirements revised upwards compared to the usual necessary data for passing standards, to ensure that you have your hands on a very resistant product. (frontal / rear impact tests, fatigue/torsion tests…)
