When will my order be shipped?

Orders placed with express delivery before 10 am will be shipped on the same business day, after 10am orders placed with express delivery will be shipped the next business day.
We will endeavour to have all other orders placed shipped within 1-3 business days.
Some items that require assembly (custom wheels, bikes that need boxing, etc) will be shipped within 1-5 business day.

Is everything on your site in stock?

All items marked with the green 'Add to Cart: in stock' label are in our store.

If there has been an error with our stock levels we will contact you as soon as possible.

On rare occasions, items that are confirmed to be in transit to us from the supplier may be pre-emptively listed as in stock. These orders will be dispatched immediately when the items have arrived.

How much does shipping cost?

Most orders over AU $150 ship for free across Australia (via the most cost-effective courier service for your area). All bikes and heavy/bulky items will incur a shipping fee, this will be quoted at checkout.

Orders under AU $150 will be charged accordingly to your postal address and items purchased.  
Orders placed with Standard Shipping will be shipped with the most cost-effective shipping service for your area.
You can also choose Guaranteed Australia Post if you prefer however, charges will be relative to the size and weight of your order. 

Can you ship Express?

Midland Cycles offers Express Shipping via the Australia Post eParcel network at competitive prices. Select Express Shipping at checkout to get a shipping cost for the entire order.

Shipping Express eParcel means that we will ship your order out the same day (or the next day, if ordered after 10 am). Your parcel should be received the next 1-2 days. Please note that express shipping does not mean guaranteed next-day delivery (the next-day guarantee from Australia Post does not apply to eParcel) but your parcel is prioritised by Australia Post.

How long will it take to get my order?

Delivery times depend on where you live and the shipping method you select. 
If your order is time critical, or you are in a remote area, we do have very competitive Express Post shipping options.
To see an estimate on how long a package will take to arrive, please go to the website for the relevant freight provider (see below) and enter 6056 as the origin postcode.

Please note: Customers with shipping addresses outside of Australia are solely responsible for all duties, import taxes, and brokerage fees. These are not included in the cost of shipping or handling of your order. Customs, duties, and taxes vary widely from country to country; please check with your local customs agency for details on estimated costs. Customs, duty, and taxes are non-refundable: so if you refuse a shipment because of unexpected import fees, the cost of the original shipping, any brokerage/customs/duty/taxes, and any return shipping charges will not be refunded.

Orders canceled prior to dispatch - 
Orders cancelled prior to dispatch or pick up due to a change of mind will incur a 10% cancellation fee (based on the total order value). This is to cover administration and payment costs.
 
Will I be charged for returns?
If the return is due to incorrectly supplied or faulty products, Midland Cycles will cover the return costs.
If you are wanting to swap over to an alternate size/colour in the same product (clothing, pads, shoes) you will be liable for the shipping both ways.
Change of mind, the wrong size ordered, or simply "not liking" a product or colour is not covered by Midland Cycles and you will need to pay for shipping both ways.
While we try to be as compassionate as we can with return/refund conditions, you will be liable for a 10% restocking fee on returns or refunds due to change of mind. This is to cover administration and payment costs/fees.
 
International Returns - 
We do accept returns from orders shipped internationally. Customers are responsible for covering all return shipping costs, and all conditions above as to the state of the goods and packaging apply. Please contact us prior to sending back a return from outside Australia.
 
When do items need to be returned by?
Products must be returned and/or organised to be returned within 7 days of receiving the item.
 
How do I return items?
Contact us by email, phone or visit us in store with the products and reason for return.
 
Returns Shipping Conditions -
Items must be packaged securely and well protected. Items damaged in transit back to us will not be exchanged/refunded. Returns must be sent with insurance for the full purchase price of the item and with a signature on delivery. A tracking number must also be emailed to us once the item has been sent. 
 
Packing materials?
All returned items must include original, undamaged packaging materials with the return.

What's next?
Once the return is received we will dispatch the replacement product or you will be given store credit to use in-store. Your return will be processed within 2 business days of the item returning to us.
 
Do you offer refunds?
Refunds are only available on faulty or incorrectly supplied items. In other cases, returns will be issued with either a replacement item or store credit which you can use at a later date.
